i need info?

im new here ,and i want to know if u need a night heat lamp,one of those red lights for the night becasue in the morning its about 65 degreese in there? And is a 10 gallon to small for a nine month old/hatchling?:main_huh:

you'll need an under tank heater because they need belly heat. a daytime lamp isn't really a necessity from what i understand because they're nocturnal. i think the only reason you'd really need a lamp is if the UTH doesn't warm up the substrate enough (should be around 90 during the daytime i believe)

I would definatel suggest a UTH instead of an over head light. and a ten gallon is big enough for an adult even tho somepeople prefer to have bigger:main_thumbsup: correct me if im rong.

We have 2 leos. The male seems to prefer his red heat lamp--he's out more often when I use it. The male's in a 20, the female in a 10. I like the 20 better because you can fix it up nicer.

i have my juvie male in a 15 long, i personally wouldn't want to put him in anything smaller because i'd be worried it would be too cramped once he got bigger, plus there's a lot of room for him to move around in it now.
