She looks just like mine. A tangerine. Do you have all of the things you need to take care of her? Getting her really depends on how much of a commitment you are willing to give her. I have two that I got for my boys but id say I spend at least 15 to 30 min a day fussing with cleaning up poo, feeding them, and checking on their temps.

I have 2 other females and some other tanks set up cause Im going to repticon in like 3 weeks to look for a male engima to pair with my two females later when they're all of breeding size. I was also going to look for a tangerine female while I was there but I came across her. Just wanted to make sure shes healthy looking and that she is actually what I thought. $15 is alotttt cheaper than id pay from a breeder...Even though getting them from a breeder id get info on backgrounds..

she looks a bit skinny. Usually mine have some more weight on at that size. Another worry could be that she appears to be kept on sand, so there's a possibility impaction. So their could be taking in a sick gecko, that might be a lot of vet bills. Either way, wait for other opinions from more experienced owner, since I'm no expert.

Yea she is on sand. But I used to work at a vet and the only thing they ever said is to give them mineral oil to clear that up and it always worked on the geckos that came in with those problems. I know all shes feeding is mealworms in a dish so I was as worried about the sand as if she were chasing crickets...I thought she was a little skinny to though

She is really pretty. Does she eat good? Or maybe they aren't feeding her enough. I have one that never wants to eat (like ever) and it is very frustrating. Her tail does look nice. I know of people who will only keep their leopard geckos on sand and they do fine. I personally wouldn't worry about it. My baby was on sand when I got her and she is just fine. By the way I think she is called a Super Hypo Tangerine if she is the same as mine. That is what i found when i looked online and also what Dr Carrot tail confirmed with me.

Im not sure how shes eating...I feed mine crickets, mealworms, and small dubia's. This one right now is only getting mealworms. Shes not housed by herself so thats probably got alot to do with it.

For the price you could have a great pet. If your wanting to breed then it might be better to get from a breeder so you have the back ground. But that depends on what you want to breed.
