Hi
can it be that there is much to much water in the brown stuff ???
I think my eggs would die in so much water too !

I use bed a beast. And its only 70 to 80 percent humidity. Its the same substrate I used for my eggs that have now hatched. I have hatched 3 babies with no problem. And its actually rather dry. I have to keep checking on it just to make sure its moist.

If you place a lid on the container it will hold in the moisture, this way you don't have to keep it so wet. Just open the container 1-2 times a week to let fresh air in. The Bed-A-Beast is way too wet. You're lucky the other eggs survived.

when I first put them in there it was dry. sprayed it a bit and left it alone. Just checked in on it. sprayed it a little more once a week. there is a lid on it.
