My Svetlana.
I adore this gecko.
S/he's going to make some pretty babies one day.

:shocked:Holy cow im speechless that has to be the most stunning auriculatus I have ever seen:shocked:

Thank you!!!!!

I cannot even photograph her colors properly.
She has bright pinks, and her reds are even MORE stunning in person.

I got this gecko in a trade, too.
The breeder tried to get me to take her clutchmate because he swore the clutchmate was going to be more red, but I declined the clutchmate because it wasn't ready to go to a new home yet, and I got impatient.
So, I took this one instead.

And s/he turned out this way for me.:D

I hope this gecko is male.

"It's" gorgeous!

What are the personalities like on these guys?

This one here is a bit more active (moves a lot when I handle him/her, but not so jumpy anymore) and shy.

I have one other that is just the sweetest, calmest gecko EVER, and it's only about 9 weeks old.
She eats from my hand, does NOT jump when I handle her, and doesn't want to let go of me when I put her back into her KK.

Personalities will vary, but I find them usually sweeter than my cresties.
Granted, mine are still small-ish.
Svet weighs just over 10 grams and my little one weighs 5.5 grams, maybe 6 grams by now.
Most people say that their adult gargs are calmer than their crested geckos.
They'll sit on them for an entire movie.

I have yet to try that though.:D

And thanks for the compliment!:D

Also, a lot of gargs will not eat insects.
Some will, but a lot won't.

I cannot get the two of mine to eat anything other than the Repashy diet.
Which is fine, they're growing and eating like pigs.

You can try bugs on them, there is a chance some take them, but I got sick of wasting good feeders on mine.:D

Good to know. Thanks for the info! Somehow I talked my self into thinking they were a bit testy, so I've been admiring them from a distance :)

Best of luck with your counseling. Let me know how it works out, I have a couple babies that could use some re-education ;)

No offense intended to any other Garg owners here, but...

Rebecca, I feel pretty comfortable saying that this has to be the nicest Garg I've ever seen, even if only in a picture. Spectacular Red Coloration! :main_thumbsup:

Aw, thank you!

S/he's my beauty for sure.

I'm REALLY wanting to pair her up with a nice orange stripe or orange reticulated to see what kind of crazy, colorful babies will be thrown at me.:D

I'll keep all posted when I find out his/her gender for sure, and I'll definitely let you all know when I have hatchlings available.
Well, d'oh, I'll probably post a million pictures of any hatchlings I get.:main_laugh:
