Money surely hates me. Everytime I add things up and budget properly... some random ass charges FINALLY go through on my card, or my paycheck bounces (yeah, can you believe that?) or they don't pay me on time.

Currently, I think I [barely] have enough to get the cage and supplies for my gecko (not the gecko itself). Humm... If anything, I have the floor tiles. I might be able to get everything else but the thermostat tomorrow.

I'm just sick of money issues like this. I can't wait until I start a new job over the summer. I mean, I get paid well from what I do now... for a full-time student. But this is turning into chump-change as I grow older. lol Hummm

I do feel in my heart that things will work themselves out. It's not like I can't pay my bills... meh... lol Just frustrating!!!

it happens....we finally had extra money so that I could put some away to pay for when I screwed up at college, and the rat had to go for an emergency trip to the vet! That extra $70 came right back out of the school fund

Money's crazy... can't seem to hold onto it. I told myself, though, that xmas money from this year is to splurge. lol No saving it. No paying credit card bills with it... I did that with birthday money. Nah, this time, for me!

Well, mehhh. I hope to actually get a refund from taxes this year. Last year, my first year having to deal with them, I owed around $1100 because my primary job didn't take any money out of my checks for taxes... even though I told them to. I was pissed.

That's the same job that bounces paychecks, deposits other people's money in my or someone else's account... or doesn't issue checks on payday.

Can't wait to start a new job. lol

If it makes any difference, I had a friend of mine whos employer's paychecks bounced. He actually called the police and they told his employer that not paying what is due is fraud or something like that, and he had the option to pay on the spot or go to jail. Just an option for you.

Hey Matt, your friend got paid and fire all at once....yippy. The smart thing to do is keep the bounced checks and take them to court suing for the 3X as much the law allows.

No, I pay full taxes (per my wage). I am even paying into Social Security.

you'll get it back in your refund check... i always got everything back when i filed when i was in school. i'm curious to see if i still get mine back in refund checks now that i'm out on my own...

on a related note i've been applying at every place i can think of for a second job since the sports reporting isn't giving me much in the way of savings... the guy at wendy's told me i would make more as a manager there than i do now but i like my job and figure having experience as a sports reporter will open more doors for me in the future than managing a fast food restaurant...
