This week has been the best week I've had in a loooooooooong time, and it's only 5 AM on Wednesday!
State Farm finally got their ass in gear and gave me an estimate. I'll be getting back a little under $1000 more than I paid for it. I have to fix some paperwork problems (involving the title) and it's a done deal. They didn't volunteer info about the loss of use, but thanks to you guys I knew to ask. :main_thumbsup:
I'll be talking to a lawyer today (or at least a secretary of a lawyer) about my arm injury. I'm not expecting a lot at the moment, but they should be able to steer me in the right direction.
Yesterday, at 6 AM, we got a call from the headhunter for Eric. He got a job offer from the place he interviewed at! They were so impressed that the head of HR was on the phone with the headhunter as soon as Eric walked out the door. He'll be getting a $4.00/hr raise, better 401K, better (and cheaper)medical insurance, free dental, and they're going to pay for COBRA while we're between insurances (3 months). :main_thumbsup: He's just a pee-test and 2 weeks away from leaving his hell-hole of a job.
Combine that with debt consolidation that will start up next month, and we should no longer be living check to check! WOW! :banana: :banana: :banana: It deserves a chorus line of dancing bananas! I haven't been able to say that since I was a teenager.:main_thumbsup:
