How long does it take these things to start wiggling?

If they are a dark brown/Black color they are dead. But if they are a lite tan color then they should start wiggling within a couple minutes

Are they supposed to be...soft and squishy?
When I use my tweezers to pick one up, the imprint from the tweezer pinch stays in them.
Almost like a deflating balloon.

wax worms are pretty soft in comparison to mealworms. You could try putting them somewhere a little warmer to jump start them. Perhaps near a light (but not directly beneath).

A couple started moving after I sat them under a heat lamp.

If they are kept in the fridge they will appear dead. Give them 10 min to heat up to room temp and they will start moving! Only the black or dark brown ones are usually dead.

After two hours of being sat under a heat lamp, and on a stove that is on, they are finally coming to life.

Yeah when I get mine from petsco they usually take a good 15 minutes on the feeding dish before I start to see some action out of them. I don't usually feed them because of their nutritional value but I use them as fatty treats every once and a while.
