I witnessed the entire thing!

Wow the most amazing thing happened this morning. I witnesses an entire egg laying. Didn't want to scare her with any pictures so I don't have any sorry but it was the most wonderful thing ever lol it's Tango's second clutch this season very cute..

How wonderful you were able to witness this! I have only seen it a few times in the 13 years I've been working with geckos. It is truly an amazing thing to see.

it was quite tedious at times because I would have to stay very still.... she stopped every time I moved lol

I`ve only seen the process a handful of times myself, it is definitely amazing to watch those females do it.... Especially when the eggs are still Sticky and shiny

it took quite a long time she was restless..... she kept coming in and out of the moist hide digging out vermiculite, made the biggest mess ever.... I removed about half of the entire hide's vermiculite off the tub's floor.... but it was amazing!

That is very cool to see!! I have witnessed our females digging one moment, turned around another moment, and saw eggs the very next moment! I've never seen them actually come out.. I'm sure that was very interesting..

Wow, congrats. I actually was lucky as well; I saw one lay eggs about a week ago. I thought it was weird how you said, she was kidda jumpy though. Mine seemed to be in a trance like state. I actually moved her back end after she was done lying (she was kicking the eggs, and I didn't want her to hurt them) and she didn't even seem to notice, she just keep kicking her back legs, like she was still burring them.

Did it look like she went through any pain?

I think mine was fine. They felt kidda like Jell-O, and the second one (I walked in right after the first one, like 2 sec after, GRRRRRRRR) popped out in like 1 sec.
