I won’t bite

When I take my leopard gecko out they almost always lick me.
But this was a first for me, this female opened her mouth right next my hand and finger a few times and touched me with her open mouth, but never bit me… the picture looks like I was just about to be chomped, but that didn’t happen.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Mine has done the same thing, Licks me then opens its mouth and ( well ) bites me.

The only time mine do this is when I've been passing out food, I think my hands must smell yummy to them. I think they smell like icky bugs, but I guess leos feel differently about it.

Hahahaha, one of my other leos is even worse, she just bites from the word go. A real wriggly and feisty character.

aww... lol she's cute. I think I would have freaked if Kirin did that. I squeaked the first time my beardie licked me... I expected her to chomp my finger... ^_^
