Hey gecko lovers lol I got my crested gecko on Friday morning now I know it takes sometime for them to get use to everything. But Iam not trying to be funny but he has not poop yet or eaten yet. Should I be worried? or is it that he is still geting use to his new home? any help would be great.

Thanks. :)

I wouldn't be worried, You could post a pic of your set up. or explain it, but if you've done your research im sure it is probably fine. Cresteds take a few days to get used to their new enclosure before eating. Just be sure to keep handling/disruptions to their enclosure down to a minimum for the first week or so, to keep stress down.

Okay his setup is a medium Exo Terra and he has plenty of things to climb on and he has a shallow water dish and food bowl. He is very alert and a really cool boy to have when he first came I put him into his new home and he whent streat for the water bowl he was thristy.

How big is he? And what size exo? If he's a baby, they usually do best in a Kritter Keeper at first, then move him into the exo when he gets a little bigger.

He is 20 grams so he is no baby and the exo is a medium size so its not too big and he got alot of hiding and climbing space.

Anytime you are thinking he's not eating try only putting 5 or so drops of CGD in a bowl. Leave it overnight. See if there is any left in the morning. (Tip I learned from a longtime breeder, and have used a few times myself) Sometimes they eat so little that it is almost impossible to tell if they've eaten anything. Also, they can be quite shy about eating, and will only do so in the dark.
