" Sort of doubt "lime emerine". Emerine is a certain line of leopard geckos and I've never heard one described as lime.

it looks to me like you have a standard SHTCTB.

Just because a gecko has a greenish tinge does not make it an emerine.

http://www.leopardgeckowiki.com/imag...dermerine1.jpg This is an emerine, from emerine lines"

Like i said, the pics dosn't shows the true colors =(, he has tangerine spots and green bands!

on Ron's web site you can find 4 main variations of this morph

the lime one is this.

I suppose the better question is, where did you get the gecko?

I stand corrected about the lime. I wasn't aware of that one, thank you for the correct information.

Ultimately, that will answer the question. If the gecko is not from Ron's lines, than it is not an emerine.

Would you possibly be able to get a picture of him in natural light? That might help.

Also, if the gecko is in fact emerine (which I don't see at all from your pictures), than the only way to keep the emerine to breed him to another emerine since it is a line bred trait. The more you breed to non emerines, the more you dilute the trait until it is eventually not noticeable anymore.

Yup, first time for me hearing about a "Lime Emerine" also.
Ron makes up a lot of names for his animals to sell them as something more special than they are more commonly refered to.

Inbreeding for 2-3 generations is fine also. If you want to keep the look going you should breed him to his daughter. But since it is a male it can be taken to multiple females. So if you wanted, breed it to all those females.

Where did you get the geckos?
