ID help please

Hi guys, picked up a new leo a while back but i cant figure out what morph it is. Its eyes are either very dark red or else black. its pretty hard to tell. anyone know what he might be?

thanks for the help guys. he was sold to me as a mack raptor, how do i tell the difference between the two?

First you say that you "can't figure out what morph it is", then you say "it was sold to me as a Mack RAPTOR". Hrmmmm..... Whoever you bought it from told you, but you didn't trust them?? I'm confused. Nice, healthy looking gecko though.

hey, yeah it was sold to me as a mack raptor. When i was looking at other mack raptors online I couldnt see the resemblence between the 2. I just assumed he was a normal raptor but as he got older his eyes turned black or maybe very dark red and started doubting myself. Thought he might be an eclipse? hope that clears things up

A raptor IS an eclipse, and there is no difference in the eyes between a mack raptor and a raptor. A raptor is simply a tremper albino eclipse. Which makes the eclipse eyes turn red instead of black. Also, the only difference between a raptor and a mack raptor is that the mack raptor has the co-dominant mack snow genes. As far as I know, the best way to find out if it is a mack raptor is to look for hatchling pics. Hope that clears things up.

You can verify eye color by using a small LED light, shining above and below it's head.
