recently we had to take our adult male, Dank, into the vet because he had a large absess on his jaw. we later found out that he broke his jaw eating kale. so, just a warning to anyone who doesnt monitor it to closely - DO. make sure everything is ripped up so there will be NO implications with them eating it what so ever. i know most of you probably already know that and we thought we werent giving him anything he couldnt handle but just dont let them eat any of the "veins" of leafy greens.
also - we found out that after you smoke a cigarette the nicotene stays on your skin. if you touch/handle a pet or its environment it will leave traces and make them sick. just another word to the wise
