"DISCLAIMER: I am not a Vet. This is just personal knowledge if your I will not be held responsible for injuries or death of any animals. IF YOU LEO IS NOT EATING MY NUMBER 1 RECOMMENDATION IS TAKE IT TO A QUALIFIED HERP VETERINARIAN!!!!!

Now if you feel its safe to try other methods, here are some to get you started.

First things first, if you have just purchased your Gecko in the past 2 weeks, it is normal for them to not eat. It takes some time for MOST Leos to settle down and fee comfortable enough to eat.

Make sure your temperatures are correct in your cage.

Invest in a gram scale so you can keep tabs on your Leo's weight. Don't go by tail size, use the scale to see if they are losing weight.(You can buy for $20.00 at walmart in the kitchen section(make sure its digital and measures grams)

Moving on;

AGE
1 Day to 2 weeks
A Leo will not eat until after the 1st shed, sometimes a little longer.

Things to try-
1. Different foods. If you're feeding your gecko meal worms, try crickets.

2.You can try injuring the feeder so that some juices are coming out and tap them on the nose and the gecko may be more likely to eat.

AGE
2 weeks to 15 years old

Do not be too concerned if its only been a couple weeks.
Breeding females will not be as concerned with food.
Sometimes Leos will go on a "hunger strike" for no apparent reason for short time.

Things to try-
1. Different foods (Crickets, mealworms, superworms, dubia roaches, ect...)http://www.reptilerevolution.com/reptile-feeders/reptile-feeders.html This is a website that tells you information on some of the different feeders)
2. Separate if housed with any other geckos.

If you notice any bloating this could be an impaction and your leo needs to go to a QUALIFIED HERP VET."

Hate it when that happens! LOL

I would add...Invest in a Gram scale so you can keep tabs on your Leo's weight...Don't go by tail size go by weight when decideing if they are losing weight.

Cost is $10-20 bucks from Wally World or Target and is one of the best investments!

I just decided to copy and fix because it was just a few capitalizations and punctuation errors. Now the second sentence after the disclaimer I did not touch because I'm unsure as to what you wanted to say with "if your I will not."

I think I got most of them. I also suggest maybe posting a link or a source where you can find the gram scales. I myself do not have one yet and don't know where to start. If I needed to I could find one but for some others who arn't used to computers it may be helpful to them.

Maybe explore different kinds of food and why they may be more beneficial. For example: Wax Worms may have more fat content but they may get your gecko's appetite jump started. Anything to get a little more info ;)

I'm not trying to be a pain, just trying to help this out a little because it could help more people in the long run. I am a beginner with geckos but have done extensive research on everything possible and am a big worry wort. Mine didn't eat even after two weeks and of course I spazzed. But when I went to a different forum I got a cold response. I realize that it gets old seeing "MY GECKO WONT EAT" or "HE WONT COME OUT OF HIS HIDE WHEN I PUT CRICKETS IN!" But it's just us being worry-some parents.

I think this thread has potential to help out different kinds of not-eating and alleviating stressed beginners or even advanced gecko lovers.

Kudos to you all who actually do try to help without being snide. :)
