Illiana reptile club

im thinking it would be a great idea to get locals from the area near the illinois / indiana border to start a club with monthly meetings. this would be a great deal where we could make friends with other herp lovers, share information, show off our leos, some people could breed one kind of roach, some another, some mealies, and at meeting we could trade surplus, have a librarie for members, contests, there is so much we could do. this would be a family affair cause i know my kids would want to come with me. if there is enough interest we could tally up a list and find a central location either south suburbs of chicago or something. anyone interested reply here with your location and lets see if there is enough interest do get this ball rolling !!:main_thumbsup: :main_yes:

Karl, there is a group like this. Check out The Alliance of Reptile and Amphibian Hobbyists (T.A.R.A.H.). Good group of people.

Not saying I wouldn't be up for something else as well... but I never get the time to make it to these already established meetings. lol

thats over 2 hours from where i live though, im looking to start a club south of chicago near indiana, but thanks

also, they hold there meetings at a pizza place which is great, but i want to hold meetings in a small hall where we can bring our leos and such, do trading, etc...
