Hey all! I'm sorry that i have been neglecting the forum for so long, but my two uncles were in critical condition in the hospital for a few weeks, I landed a named role in a musical, my labrador had eight puppies, and i have had a ton of babies hatch! I was Overrun!! :main_laugh: But im back now! And I have photos! (and i learned how to add text!) This is my first ever breeding season!
First we will see the parents post-breeding:
My namesake, the handsome SHTCTB, father to many of my hatchlings,
And the handsome normal het. tremper and blizzard, father to many babies also,
And now for my girls
My beautiful SHTCT who kept up her weight as she was gravid. Mother to five in her first year,
My georgeous SSTA girl! She lost a ton of weight while breeding, and only two of her babies made it full term, but both were severly deformed and had to be culled.... so she's retired from breeding here on out...
Then my super breeder! She's a tremper het eclipse, and het blizzard, mother to five so far, two about to hatch any day, and about to lay eggs any day again!
And then the little girl that i got from a dishonest breeder. I was not told of the regen. tail, the overbite, or the numerous missing toes... she was also injured during shipping due the the horrible packing, so she cant move her back legs very well... she is gaining weight steadily, and has solid poop, so she will be much better soon! I will be rehoming her to a responsible owner who can care for "special needs" geckos sometime soon. It will be tricky finding someone that knowledgable locally though! and i dont want to ship her, so that her back injury will not be disturbed again... but here she is!
Sadly the stick tailed one from the same breeder refused to eat (even vomited the slurry), and she sadly passed away... i hope she is fat and healthy in gecko heaven!
But now for some happier news! Thanks to the hard work of my geckos and I, i am now the owner of ten healthy little babies! I had issues using the GEO (no fault to them, but i just fail with humidity ), but i moved all the surviving eggs into just plain hatch rite, and my hatch rate went from 0% to 100% of fertile eggs hatching! woohoo!
But here the babies are!
Damsel x Dinosaurs babies:
Chubs: pos. SHTCTB (all of their babies are the same morph, and he is my first ever baby!)
Dinkus (my favorite at the moment!)
Bob (named by a ten year old)
Mandarin (because.. he's orange.. you know..)
and Kokoro (he had his entire yolk still attached and is still working on not being anorexic.. but his name means "heart" in japanese, and i named him that because of the mark on his back )
and now Porkchop X Mavericks babies! :
Newt (Blizzard, Pos het tremper, pos het eclipse)
Meeps (Tremper albino, pos het bliz, pos het eclipse)
Swift (Tremper albino, pos het bliz, pos het eclipse)
Dr. Eyebrows (normal, pos het blizzard, pos het tremper, pos het eclipse)
Garnet (tremper blazing blizzard, pos het eclipse)
thank you for reading!!
