I am working towards getting Mack Raptors. I have seen quite a few debates about Mack Raptors and I would like to see what everyone here thinks. I have seen obvious mack raptors and then I have seen the "Banded" Mack Raptors and even Reverse stripe Mack Raptors (They all have a bright red eyes).
I have heard the opinion that if they are not patternless then they are not Mack Raptors. So I guess what I am asking is if they are not patternless can you still call them mack raptors (if not what would you call them?) and what is it about the Mack Gene that sometimes you dont get the Raptor Patternless.

Thanks everyone!!

The patternless aspect of raptors comes from the incomplete recessive patternless stripe traits. These traits are very complex and hard to pin down. Its not that the mack trait is causing banding so much as the stripe pattern is recessive to banding or jungle patterns...

you can call them mack raptors or mack snow eclipse tremper albinos. if the creator of the raptor can call bandeds raptors than so can anyone else...

The term "Raptor" is global known to mean eclipse eyed tremper. It's the inability to adapt with the times that has some folks debating the Ruby eyed Albino Patternless Tremper ORange ;)

I see, that makes sense. I thought you could call them Raptors I just wanted to make sure. Like I said I had heard the debates and wanted clarification, because if you can have reverse stripe APTORS then why couldnt you have Banded Mack Raptors? Thanks for the answers guys!!

Well , knowing that a true APTOR or Raptor is a patternless stripe is important on a breeding standpoint to project what will hatch out, but stating the patterning before the "Raptor" tells everyone it's a eclipse eyed "pattern" tremper albino ;)
