I'm currently using sphagnum moss for my humid hide but

am thinking of switching to paper towels. Do you shred them up then spray to moisten? Or just ball it up and spray?

I just fold the paper towel so that it fits nicely into the bottom of the humid hide, then I pour water on it so that when you squish it, it drips just a little. It'll dry out in about a day so you need to re-wet it.

I just fold it up so it fits the hide then spray both sides with water.
As BGalloway said its dry by the next day but I only spray it every other day.
