Hi,
I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. But what will the outcomes of this be?
Tangerine bell albino female
Jungle giant het raptor male.

Well... pretty much a mutt with not much goin for it in the field of breeding. It'll be a normal with probibly a tang tinge with roughly 10 possible hets.... basiclly making it no more valuble then a plain normal. Id say if you are thinking of doing this PLZ dont. Try and find a bell male for your female and a raptor female for you male that way you can produce a higher quality offspring. I also suggest you look into leo genetics aswell... Good Luck!

You would get all normal offspring that are het for Bell and het for Tremper albinos. The two albino strains are not genetically compatible for producing albino offspring.

i was going to say normals too, but i figured it would be best to leave it to the professionals to try to answer the genetics questions.

i think if i ever get into breeding my guy (shtctb poss. het bell) i would want to get another tang that's definitely het bell so that i could prove whether or not he is indeed het for bell but also hopefully produce some more nice looking tangs in the process or else get two females, a bell and a tang for the same reasons.

Thanks all, I'm just going to stick to my Mack snow het remper + the male

As for the tangerine I was just asking because there is one for a super good deal ATM so I was going to get it if I could produce some nice offspring.

I might get that female though and do tangerine bell ablino female+ bell male

So I saw the chart some where and I cant find it anymore but I remeber how to make it now my ? is, so I NERVER have to ask about this again, could some one give me like a list or a link to a list that has letters that represent the different traits and which ones affect wich.

ex: eye color RAPTOR XX
Black Eyes Yy
Skin color Blizzard Bb
Blazing Blizzard BA
Albino Aa

I know thats totally inaccurate but that kind of setup. Than I can make a all informative post and maybe it can get stickyed. :D

Well this is what I think so far.. hopefully I can get corrected.

All albino, patternless, and blizzards are a reccesive gene. So they would be represented by a lower case letter. Like my a Blizzard would be Ab where b is the recessive gene. However BB would be ab where a represents the albino gene. or a Banana Blizzard would be pb where p represents the patternless gene.

As far as eye color Im working on this.... but I think a APTOR would be aa or a het aptor would be Aa. But an RAPTOR would be aarr for a "full blooded" raptor where a het raptor would be AaRr where the capitol letters represent the dominate regular gene.

In the 4 letter case a normal high yellow would be AARR? And a Blizzar/ albino/ patternless would be AbRR unless it had its own eye colors, in that case it might look like Abyy where y is represents it spefic recessive eye trait (black eyes etc...)

With regards spefic looks like CT's reverse stripes, etc.. I THINK thats not genetic but... you know what I mean right? Or am I wrong? I really want some kinda sticky to break all this down for new potential breeders like myself .

Well since this thread got bumped up, what would the outcomes of blizzard+jungle giant het raptor
I'm guessing normals/high yellows?

So what I think: it would be bbRR for the blizzzrd cause it has regular eyes Im assuming and the Jungle would be something like jaRr where Rr is het for raptor eyes and the ja is for the jungle aptor gene they'd both be lower case cause there recessive. so the top of the chart would be jR jr aR ar and the side would be bR bR. I think thats right.

In theory 25% chance of jbRR a jungle blizzard with regular eyes
25% chance of jbrR: jungle blizzard 50%het for Raptor
25% chance of abRR: Blazing Blizzard with normal eyes since a RAPTOR is albino
25% chance of abRr: Blazing Blizard 50% het for RAPTOR

But again Im SUPER new at all this so I could be wrong.

Sorta bumping this again.
Since every one else has asked there questions about "What will they get"
Out of my "normal" pair the male won't be ready to breed due to a eating strike and just started eating last night.
So if I bred my jungle giant het for raptor what would I get (to the normal girl)
I think this is what my possibilitys would be:

25% jungles het for raptor (unsure if they would be giants)
25% normals (unsure if they would be giants)
25% normals het for raptor (unsure if they would be giants)
25% jungle giants (unsure if they would be giants)

I'm really new at this and just sorta put my prediction down.
