I'm not really ure what this is... (pics included)

Well I have had my leopard gecko for over a year now and i've recently noticed a bulge underneath both of her armpits.
I've searched the web and i've picked up that it is an extra food storage like her tail/she is overweight. but i never really got a clear answer. And I was hoping the lovely people of geckoforums.net would be able to help me out.

so what im asking is is she overweight?, what is that bulge under her arm?

Those "pockets" appear on overfed geckos. Most people I've talked to indicate they are caused by excess protein.

So, yes, she could do with a diet. :) Small bulges are fine, but if you look at her body/tail/legs, you can tell she is carrying some extra weight.

I've also heard they might be calcium/vitamin deposits. You usually only see them on healthy animals that are slightly overweight whatever they are. They're nothing to worry about but putting your gecko on a diet and having her lose 5-10 grams probably wouldn't hurt. She's a bit chunky :)
