Tonite I went to my incubator to check everyone and found a tangerine enigmaxredstripe hatchling halfway out of the egg and it was dead. It looked ok it was 62 days cooking so I'm not sure how it would go all the way full term and hatch to die at the end of the journey....

That is incredibly sad. I'm sorry to read about the loss of your hatchling. I hope your others have much more successful journeys.

Aww I am sorry to hear about that. The energy it takes to get out of the egg is immense for a little guy like that and some are just not strong enough. It just wasnt meant to be I guess. I have had 3 full term hatchlings die in the egg even before trying to emerge so I think your gecko was one step ahead of mine. Lets hope the other eggs from that pairing fair better. Good luck sounds like an awesome pair!

I am sorry for the loss. It just takes so much energy to get out of that egg. Its hard on something so small. Best of luck with your other eggs.
