So I just got my two new girl and they didn't eat for about a week. I was getting really nervous and both the breeders I bought them from were very calm and I'm sure were a little annoyed at times. But they ate last night!!!! It was funny cause I was just staring at them, like I do from time time, and it was almost simultaneous!! After they ate and I did my little jig. banana: ) I thought to myself "WOW I'm so noob!!" But I'm pretty sure everyone went through that with their first Leo's/ Herps So I was curious anybody have any other good "green horn" stories?

Lol, I did the same thing when I bought Eros from GKO. You can probably ask them, I bet they were a bit annoyed lol. He didn't eat for almost 2 weeks. Finally, one night he just laid into a couple mealies. I called Mallorie around midnight, and woke her up to tell her. I was excited.

first time i got a pair of geckos it took them about 3-4 days to eat, and it felt like forever. It's such a relief afterwards even though i know its normal for them to settle in before eating.

The BBs we got took almost 2 months to eat....talk about stressing out.

My very first geckos were little hatchlings, and I picked up 1,000 pinhead crickets to fed them (...yes, pinheads), and opened the box in the house. Needless to say, they were much too small to feed my baby leos, and I had a thousand teeny-tiny crickets all over my house.

I have LOTS of 'noob' stories.

Even though i have had my geckos for a while now, i still like watching them eat, and while they eat i am thinking, yea baby get nice and big for me so you can make me lots of pretty babies! LOL plus its just cool to watch them chow down on the little worms. after putting the mealies in to feed my babies after i finish giving the last gecko food all the rest are at the from of the tub eating, its a cool site to see! i am feeding tonite and will take a pic of them from a distance so i get'em all at once!

Well, lets see Marcia knows all my noob stories because I used to be on the phone with her constantly. HaHa. I think I freaked out most when my female didn't eat for a week and a half. I look back on that time and I just laugh.
