there was like 8 grains of vermiculite on her lips when i looked in her cage from resting her head down.. and i saw her like them off.. will this cause anything just for like 8 pieces?

well I dont really think so but you should look into it though. My geckos sometimes eat the vermiculite (I could see it in the poop) they are still alive.

Yeah I have seen the vermiculite in quite a few of mines poop as well and they are doing fine. I dont really think it is something to worry about but maybe keep an eye for excess eating of the vermiculite.

I had a group who ate only vermiculite and that is what every damb turd was made of! GRRRRR. I switched them all to spagnum peat moss and no more eating the laybox substrate.
