Important Egg Question

Even if the eggs are fresh and if rotated at all, will the embryo still die? My gecko laid eggs last night and I was so shocked that I accidentally turned the eggs over. I knew that she just laid them that day. So does it matter at any time that if the egg is rotated at all, the embryo will die? The two eggs were stuck together also.. were they supposed to do that? I need help, for I am new at this!

It is ok if fresh eggs rotate, the embryo does not attach itself to the shell immediately. IIRC it actually takes around two weeks. Just set them in place, mark the side that is up, and don't worry about it. Stuck eggs are fairly common, I always leave them together and have had no trouble, some people separate them with equally good results. As long as you don't tear the shell it doesn't really matter. Take a deep breath and relax, leo eggs are tough and yours should be just fine. :)
