I have a 2 year old female leopard gecko that I have only had for 3 weeks. She was fine for the first 2 weeks, but last week she started spending most of her time in the humid hide on the cool side of the tank. She is not even coming out to eat unless I take her out of the humid hide and show her a meal worm. She is eating the worms I offer her. I have an UTH on one side controlled by a herpstat thermostat that is set at 90. I am checking the floor temps. with a temp gun and it is hottest in the warm hide at about 93. When I do take her out and she eats she goes back into the warm hide but when I wake up the next moring she is back in the humid hide. She is in a 20L aquarium. Is this normal or should I be concerned, and what can I do??? Thanks

Some leos prefer to spend time in their humid hides, they will go swings and roundabouts, i had hatchlings spend all their time in their humid hide, to going to allways in the cool hide, to just sprawled out over their water bowls. Its nothing to be worried about unless she starts getting really thin.

Thanks for the reply, and no offense but could you explain "swings and roundabouts" I'm guessing it has something to do with playgrounds. I'm just curious, It's not a term I've ever heard.

Sorry english term =D Means they will chop and change between how they feel, so somedays they might stay in one hide, then suddenly change to another hide or just sprawl out where they want.
Another explination would be this time of year they are going into brumation so your leo might just want to be keeping warm.

Its nothing to worry about.
Sorry for the confusion! :)

Personally I would keep my Humid Hides on the warm side. This is how they are in the wild. They dig into the moist underground where the sand is still hot.
Just my opinion though.
