Inconsistent Temperatures...

I've got a 10 gallon tank with a ESU Thermostat, a Zoo-Med digital thermometer and a generic UTH. Additionally I have a Mini PE TempGun. My issue is that the digital thermometer and my thermostat are reading 87 or so, but when I check with my TempGun I get 100 or so. I am afraid to set the thermostat to 92 unless I'm 100% sure its reading accurately. The thermostat doesn't have a temp readout, but based on the starting and stopping of power to the UTH, it seem to be closer to the digital thermometer that the TempGun, but I keep reading that the TempGuns are more accurate... Which do I trust?

Well Ive always heard that the temp guns are much more accurate so Id go with it. Ive also had those digital probes read different temps in the same cage when I put of them in just to double check, 1 would read 90 and the other 95 so Im not so sure how good they are.

I would got with the Temp Gun. Its more accurate. The Digital probe is prob picking up the surrounding area temp and lowering the temp not the surface temp. Were the temp gun will read the surface temp and not the surrounding air.
