incubation temps and color

is it true that the higher the temp the better the color like because i heard the first three weeks incubate for the sex you want then after the sex is locked in then you raise it to like 89 could some one explain this more

Higher usually produces lighter/brighter colors, lower produces darker colors

same, start with low and then raise to 90

i did it gradually in 1 day and my eggs are about to hatch in the next few days
