You can get the fan from Radio shack or a science store. I can't remember the name of it but they sold motors, fans, beekers. It was off of Harlem Ave in the Northern part of the city.
I put the probe in the middle as the temp should be even with the fan. I used a second thermostat to check all the spots to make sure it was even.
