I have been lookng into breeding my geckos but had to wait to find the right male but since 2 of my females are not females after all I think im ready and not to mention the fact that one of my males were unknowingly housed with females I want to get an incubators. What is the best and easiest brand to go with?

If you don't plan on breeding lots, then a Hovabator is probably a good choice. I'd suggest the model without the fan, and with the window.

You'll also need a quality thermostat. Proportional would be the best to get, but if you're on a bit of a budget, I find the Ranco or Johnson on/off thermostats used in conjunction with a probe thermometer is quite sufficient. And you can get these prewired with a power strip (here's a link), which is super convenient.

Lastly, if you do get a Hovabator, its best to use some type of heat sink (i.e., ziplock bag of water or plastic water bottles refilled with tap water) to keep the temps more constant. Otherwise, you may lose too much heat when you open the cover to check the eggs. The water stays warm, so you don't get the huge temp swing. These are some things that I've found out from my own experience, and others may use other methods. Best of Luck with your incubation method! :main_thumbsup:
