Info on egg absorbtion

I wonted to know the proses of females reabsorbing their eggs. How do you know when they are doing this?

Zach, it's only the infertile eggs that get reabsorbed. Once the ovum has developed to a point without fertilization, it can begin to dissolve back into the female's body.
