Hey folks! Long time no chat with some of you. I've been out of the "game" for a few years now (almost 8 to be exact). During this time I've been focused on going back to college etc. I am now a Wildlife Science major with plans for Graduate school next year. My discipline of choice is genetics specifically with relation to reviving endangered species. I'd like to do some extra research on leopard and ocelot geckos and was wondering where the best place to get breeding stock is these days. I see Marcia is still going strong over at Golden Gate but haven't seen anything on the available page in awhile. Back in the day if you wanted high quality you'd see either Marcia, Kelli or Garrick...

So help me get back into the swing here.. why aren't any of these guys updating availability?

The reason you aren't seeing any availability from them right now is just timing. Their 2011 hatchlings have already been sold, and their 2012 hatchlings aren't quite ready to go up for sale yet.

I figured that was probably the case, but thought it was getting late enough into the season. Like I said, been awhile since I was even looking for animals. I think the last time I was out in the community was FIRE Expo in Orlando in uh... 2006?

JMG is also a great place to get geckos. There are breeder banners on top here that you can check out. I don't know all of them, but quite a few are really good breeders.

Ive gottena a few of my guys/gals from Thad of Ohio Gecko (also in the banners at the top of the page). And if I had the money Id have a LOT more. Good guy and great animals, and a good selection. Cant really ask for more than that. I guess it depends on what exactly your looking for.

Thanks for all the great info. I have looked at Ohio and JMG yesterday. I see a lot of the breeders have snow projects. I'm not really sure at this point what angle I want to play on traits since when I had my leos before carrot-tail was pretty much the rage and it looks like things have progressed well beyond that. I do like the stripes and the electric tangs @ HISS look amazing so I have some interest there as well. Still trying to play catchup.
