My young Leo has started taking snacks back to his cave(hide)...I've just seen him (after i cleaned the enclosure) I replaced the Calcium bowl and he just goes and walks inside the calcium powder completely covering his feet (which looks hilarious he is completely yellow with a carrot tail, and bright white feet) walks back into the cave and proceeds to lie down and lick his feet every now and then....

while i understand this might just be him being silly and then cleaning himself off from irritation possibly...its interesting to watch because he has done it a few times now.

Does anyone else have their gecko do this?

That's pretty funny, haven't happened to mine, but I have some males that just would not let me place that calcium bottle cap where I placed them. I have one male that'll knock the bottle cap from where I placed it into his hide, every single time. Every time I replace calcium in it, and place the cap back to the spot which is all the way on the other side of the tank, he would go and knock it inside his hide again. Leopard geckos can do some pretty funny things :)
