interesting incubation methods

Just wondering if you or someone you heard has hatched leopard gecko eggs or any other reptile eggs using some weird incubation method that no one uses.

I heard of people putting them in a ziploc container with vermic or perlite and letting them sit in a garage in the summer cause it's naturally humid and had successful hatches. Twin Cities Reptile pet shop by my house says they just throw all their leo eggs in a container with again vermic and throw them in the back room closet no incubator involved just the heat of the store. And the lady said they have great success hatching them.

Myself used to put them on top of a beardy dragon cage on the with no incubator just container and wet vermic and have had hatches. Temp was like constant 80-82* That was back in the late 90s.

I would like to hear what everyone else tried or has heard.

I use a 10g tank, a uth, dimmer switch, and an inch of sand in the bottom of the tank. Couldn't get below 84.7 but it holds it between 84.7 and 85.5 with a probe stuck in between the eggs in the Tupperware of vermiculite.

I heard of the ten gallon tank method too. Sounds pretty cool:main_thumbsup:
