intrigued by roaches

Roaches creep me out but I think I want to try dubias on Presley. I haven't seen them at chain stores...but would a reptile shop have them, you think? Theres a nice reptile shop near me. I dont want to have to buy them online and have them shipped

You can definitely call and ask them, but keep in mind, just buying them to feed off is rather expensive. Even just getting a couple adult pairs and letting them breed is better than that. Why do you not want to have them shipped?

Oh, I just wanted to buy like two and see if he likes them first haha. Then if he does I'll go from there

Ahhhh that makes sense You can definitely call around and ask! I haven't found any in my area, but you know, I actually found a couple people selling them on Craigslist of all places. They had started a colony, had too many, and needed an outlet.

I got a bunch off craigslist, too- exact same situation of a guy having a colony get out of control (which I might be approaching soon, too...) I probably got 100+ for free. My guys love them! They were a bit hesitant before they actually bit one, but now they turn their noses up at anything else.
