So I have had my older leo now for about 3 months and today I purchased another one (hatchling), I am just curious on how do I go about introducing them to one another. Bothe of them are female and as of right now I have my 40 gallon tank sectioned off with a breeding divider. Any suggestions on how to introduce them?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I personally wont house two leos together. I really wouldn't put a hatchling in with one that is older. That is asking for either a dropped tail, bite wounds, or possibly a dead hatchling. I'd just keep them separated.

If you are set on eventually keeping them together i'd wait until they are both full grown, with little to not size difference, and you can be certain both are female.

I agree with Nest. Also, when you acquire a new leo it's best to keep it quarantined for 60-90 days. As in not even in the same space. Keep them and their hides etc. COMPLETELY separate. Because you don't know if the new one has parasites or whatever. Wouldn't want your healthy leo getting sick because you didn't quarantine.

I wouldnt house a hatch with a juvi, id wait a bit.. But if you do get unpatient, introduce them in a bath tub(what i did). Lay a towel down in it, then put them both in it. Please dont push them against each other let them walk around , getting used to seeing each other etc..
