Introducing geckos?

So I had an adult Leopard gecko in a 29 gallon tall tank and I got a baby about a year ago and he is in a 10 gallon. Now their about the same size and I want to try and out them both in the same enclosure. But I'm scared they'll hurt each other. So I was wondering how would I go about safely introducing my two geckos? Thanks! :)

Just checking. I wouldn't put them together. Them hurting each other is a real threat, and imo, it's not worth the risk. Plus, even though a 29 gallon looks big, it's got the exact same floor space as a 20 long, which isn't big enough to house two adult geckos. If you really insist on housing them together, get something like a 40 gallon, set it up, and put them in at the same time. Just make sure that they each have a humid hide and their own hides on the cool and warm sides.

Ok thanks! I just wanted to clear up the ten gallon for a juvi crestie but I guess not. They will remain separate.
You're welcome. I think that's the best option. Regular 10 gallons are tough for cresties anyway. You'd have to alter it to make sure you could keep proper humidity levels.

If you want to use it, though, you could probably get another cheap 20 long. The Co of Pets is having a sale $1/gallon, so it would be $20 plus a couple bucks for a lid. Or you might be able to find a used one on Craigslist, eBay classifieds, thrift stores, etc. I think the leo would be happier too in a larger enclosure. Just another option. :)
