About your leo:
- Sex- male
- Age & Weight- about 10 months and is 66g
- How long have you owned your leo- about 7 months
- Where was he/she obtained- pet store

A) Health/History
- How often do you handle your leo- every couple days
- Is your leo acting any different today?- He usually is up and around alot at night trying to climb out of the cage, but now he seems less interesting in it...
- Has he/she had any problems in the past, if so please describe.- Nope
B) Fecals
- Describe- has had some runny stools but the last one was fairly solid and was the proper color
- When was the last time he/she went- last night
C) Problem
-Yesterday morning when I was cleaning the tanks I saw that he seemed to have an irritated vent. Upon inspecting I noticed that just inside his vent seems to be raw and sore. I soaked him in water for a bit and sprayed his cage and then checked before going to sleep that night. There seems to be a bruise on the skin nearer his bulges and the vent seems a tad less irritated.

- Hides, how many, what kind- 2, hot hide is a rock hide and the cool/ moist hide is a wooden hide.

Is there any way you could post a pic of your leo's irritated vetn area plz. It would be a great help. Only thing I could suggest thus far is to remove the repticarpet and go with just regular white paper towels as substrait until this gets sorted out. Your leo could be having a reaction to the repticarpet as it can be very irritating to some leos. Also with your supplimenting program have you ever considered trying one of the all in 1 suppliments like repashy calcium plus icb or T-Rex leopard gecko dust icb by sandfire foods? it is all you need to use no leaving a seperte suppliment in the tank and you dust every other feeding for an adult leo (7+ mos old). Maybe there's something about the other stuff they just aren't liking. Eros has never refused a feeder dusted with my repashy and it seems to be a very fine dust. Are you leaving the food in a dish with the supplient or are you using the "shake and bake" method for dusting whre the feeder is dusted in a bag or carton then offered to your leo? You really need to make sure he is getting the proper supplimentation for optimum helath unless you're going to feed something like phoenix worms which are very nutritious and high in calcium but very pricy in order to make sure his nutritional quotas are met or you risk MBD or other ailements.

Well, his vent area seems to be getting better now- go figure.... Could it be that it was irritated during his shed? He had just shed 2 days earlier and the tanks are drier than normal because of the weather.... I upped the humidity and he seems to be getting better.... I will keep checking him 2 times a day until he seem completely normal...

As far as the supplements, I don't think they like the smell... But I do see all of the geckos eat pure powder from their dishes so I am not too worried about them not getting the nutrients they need... Also, I have dipped my finger in the powder and they lick it off my finger... I gotta wonder if it just make the super worms smell weird so they won't eat it...
