is a 2.5 gallon tank 2 small for a baby

thinking of making a tank stand and wanted to see if a 2.5 was 2 small for a baby to 20g or should i measure out for a set of 5 gallon tanks


wanna do 3 tiers bottom with either 4 2.5 or 2 5 gallon second with 2 10 gallons and the top with the 20 long

I would do 5 gallon tanks. They have some room in there but still small enough for them to feel secure. Then bump them up to 20 long tanks as juvies.
