Is Cooling really necessary?

Hi this is a really quick question regarding cooling your leopard geckos before breeding season , is this really necessary? I've read a lot of articles where they say it isn't and others that say it is (though more of them say it isnt) but I just want to be 100 % sure .

No, not for leopard geckos. Some breeders do it as a way to try to synchronize the females or to provide a "resting" period, but leopard geckos breed without cooling.
