is it because of the worms?

Hi there, I recently got silkworms that I've been only feeding to Leila, but since last week she completely stopped eating. I THINK she might have eaten one last night (I kept it in her dish which I never do, but there's a chance it is hiding under something).

I'm not going to worry until she starts losing weight, but I was wondering if it could maybe be from the silkworms?

Before this, she ate 2 sometimes 3 (large sized) worms every day, and since I hand feed her, she always gives me that look so I know she's hungry, but she hasn't done that since. D:

All my geckos have been real picky this summer. I say try a few other types of feeders and if nothing works just leave it for 2-4 days then go back with the feeders.

Wow thank you for replying, I thought this thread was just going to disappear. XD

She's still on a hunger strike, I try to offer her both the silkworms and the supers and she doesn't seem interested in either. But today I noticed that she started pooping (she had just shed) and she was kind of having a hard time pushing her poop out? And then when she did, it took a little bit to actually fall off from behind her. Does this mean she's constipated? She's been getting more lethargic recently. :(

Going out on a limb, but maybe since the silk worms aren't as hard-shelled, maybe they're not providing enough "roughage"? Maybe once you get her back to normal supers or crix or what-have-you, try substituting just one of those with a silkworm. Maybe she just digests the different feeders differently. I've noticed when I give out waxworms as treats, the resulting poo is stickier/yuckier until after the next "normal" meal.
