the ball pythons that are not normal (or are morphs) have more personallity. i've had almost all the types of snakes out there, and nothing ever struck me as more boaring then the ball python. i had ball pythons littarly all my life, and just got into the morphs last year. and for some reason all the morphs i have owned, or even held in intrest has had personallity or is for lack of better terms "outgoing" (as i like to call. it). i know there is alot of you that like them or even love them for what they are. but ball pythons are the only snakes that i really dont care for. but Mew, my spider has accually become a pet to me rather then just a breeder<<<<<again, for lack of better terms. what do all of you guys think?

I'm a bp fiend. We have 12 normals. Some are docile, some are incredibly shy and one of ours is just downright evil, but there is probably close to half that are very outgoing and are total attention hogs.
Our attention mongers will actually crawl up and try to get out as soon as they see us and when we pick them up, they'll "face-plant" right up to our lips and demand kisses. (Okay... My bad... I kinda conditioned them to do that...)
These kids will gladly take baths, as long as we have our hands in the water and are rubbing on them, they'll snuggle up in towels, watch intently as we talk to them and nuzzle at us to get head scritches.
Ummm.... Yeah. I guess its safe to say they're spoiled rotten.
Our evil girl is the one and only pastel we have.
I was actually thinking about asking the same question in reverse.

ohhh hahaha. thats cool. i have always and always will say there are exceptions to every rule. i really have as i said owned, or atleast handled almost every species of snake available(not counting hots). personally i think you got lucky, because i've owned about 15 or so normals, and i've only liked one of them ever. i just find they lack what almost all others have.

I'm glad i saw this, i'll be getting my 1st snake (bp) soon & was wondering if the personality is different between normals & special morphs.
