all my gecko does at night is look for food, once he finds food and regulates his temperature he just sits on the heat pad all night

is this normal? or are geckos supposed to be more active at night?:(

is it the temps that has him in one spot or are they just that way?

should i bump my night time temps up past 75 so he doesnt look sit in one spot?

at night they can see you watching them so theyre probably a bit weery. Also if your making noise then they know it isnt safe. If your asleep in bed, then there is no noise, no one around and its dark... the safest time to be active.

Depends on the type of gecko.

Depends on the cage setup.

And most of all, depends on the temperature. Cold reptiles don't have as much energy as warm ones do.

75 is a fine night time temp for the cool side. I notice that after mine eat, they like to go and lay down on the warm side and sleep for awhile. I believe that the warmer temperatures increase the effectiveness of their digestion.
