Apparently waiting out a storm is very boring for Bob. (Green Burmese)

Yeah, gotta love those "lipstick prints" they leave behind. LOL
My son had the choice of 3 baby green burms to choose from. He chose Bob because he drew the most blood. He said he "showed the most love."
Boy, am I glad he outgrew that...

I've never had a snake so please forgive my stupidity but, dont it hurt when they bite? I mean, dont they sink their teeth in? :main_huh:
Also, arent you worried about infections from their mouth?

It definitely stings a bit. Its more of a shock, though. The part that REALLY hurts is when they pull the teeth out...
I don't make it a practice to get bit, but the few times its happened, I've washed the bite and doused it with peroxide. So far, no infection from a "dirty bite."
I did have a tooth stuck in my hand, though, once. It worked its way out, but it kinda smarted a little.
After a few bites, I have learned to never ever go towards the face of a burmese python. (Sounds stupid, but I had to learn the hard way)
Haven't been bit by a boa yet. I hope I don't, either. Their teeth are longer.

Very nice pic and burm. :main_laugh: I got bit the same way by my albino burm. reaching to it straight towards the face, like you said, I was more shocked than hurt. I just got a baby green burm and it is more like a cobra. Everytime I open his cage he wants to bite me. but I understand because its a baby. I hope it goes away like yours did. :main_thumbsup:

They are rabid little beasts as babies, aren't they? LOL
It took about a month of persistant handling until he didn't try to kill us every time we reached in to pick him up.:main_rolleyes:
He's an absolute love bug now, though.
He does tag me about once a year, just to remind me he an apex predator and I'm a stupid human. :dunce:

So you going to post some pictures of the new baby?
