Is it possible?

I just got Sonny almost exactly 2 weeks ago. A couple of days after Sonny was brought home (it might have been a week after), I measured him/her. I couldn't get him to stay still long enough for me to get an exact measurement, but after multiple times of trying I got the same results: about 4 inches. I measured again today and I can hardly believe the results: a little over 5 inches. Is that really possible? He grew about an inch within a week or 2? He does look a little bigger, and that's why I decided to measure him again, but I didn't think he grew that much! My goodness haha I guess what my real questions is, is it normal?

Growth spurts often result from proper care and good feeding. You must be doing a rather good job

I've had Oreo since Jan. 4th, now on the 31, with 3 maybe 4 sheds (Oreo's a ninja shedder, tail gets cloudy skin, come home from work and looks brand new with bits of shed all over the tank)

And Oreo went from just over 4 inches to just over 5 now!

It's amazing watching it's black spots fade and regroup into new spots with each shed, they really are amazing little creatures.

So you aren't going crazy, you're just treating your gecko right! ^^

hahaha... Reminds me of when i got my first leo... He seemed to grow every day when i got home from work.... They grow quick then the next thing you know they stop.... Love it while it lasts! It doesnt take forever for them to grow up... And Congrats on the Baby....

Sometimes children will grow an inch overnight!
