Is it true....?

I've read that it's easy to get a leopard gecko to accept food from your hand, but that it's very rare to get them to sit in your hand and eat. Is this true or was it just someone's opinion?

My Sela eats out of my hand. I made a 30 second video and posted it on youtube. While there I checked out all the other leopard gecko videos and I could not find a single one (yet) where the gecko sits in someone's hand and eats. So I was just curious.

Even if it's not RARE, I'm still very pleased that Sela trusts me that much!

Here's a link for the video if anyone wants to see

I love the video :) She is really sweet and you can see she trusts you :)

I have no idea if its rare or not. Ive had Freya eat from my fingers one but im normally too chicken to handfeed incase they miss and get my fingers lol

At one point i used to tong feed Peppa every feeding and she learnt that the yellow plastic tongs meant food and would get exicted when she saw them :) She also stopped lunging so much and started to just carefully take the food from them.

I just wish she would eat now :( Barely eaten anything for about a month now because "dont want food, want to be picked up!"
