Is my crested gecko normal

I know that crested gecko's like to jump but I didn't know they did it for self entertainment. At night when mine wakes up, he will crawl up onto the screen top and hang for about 5 min, he will slowly drop his head down and look at the ground then jump off down into the leaves and soil. He sometimes does this 5-6 times a night, I think its pretty funny...

creasties are insane, I had to move my breeding groups out of my room because they jump off wall, plants and the screen top ALL night and they were keeping me up ALL night.. :furious3: I love them though

LOL thats funny, i can't imagine a room of them flying bouncing around

mine doesn't jump too much.. he's actually kind of cautious about it. could this possibly be because he doesn't have a tail? might his balance be a little off?

I have one without a tail dos'nt seem to bother them too much It dose screw up there balance a little till they get used to it not being there. also I see your from T.X. what are your temp's anything over 80F will stress them out

the temps stay at about 75 pretty much all the time, but never above 78 and never below 73. thanks though!
