Is my egg alive?

I candles my leopard gecko egg today and it was green and not firm at all is it alive?

green sounds bad, is it completely dented in? moldy? can you post a pic?

It's. Not all the way green just the sides were the perlite are there also a couple of brown spots and no I can't take a pic

is the egg still solid? how long has it been "cooking"

It was laid yesterday on the newspaper substrate and it has been in there for a day it is all it is not firm if I pick it up at the tips then it will cave in a bit. I don't think and don't expect it tone alive. Oh and it grew a bit since the female laid it

Can't hurt to incubate it, at least until you're sure if it's good or not.
