Is My Egg Ok ?!

My Female Sunglow just layed this not even an hour ago, i put it in the incubator

And now it looks like this ?!? Any ideas... We candled it and It has that special little circle! So i hope its Ok

This is my very first egg... So please let me know if its Ok

There is that yellow mark i'm worryied about... Thanks

Temps are sitting around 85

Is your hide moist? Looks infertile, but sometimes pics are hard to tell. Did it feel squishy when you picked it up, like a water balloon, or firm?

My Hubby picked it up out of her cage... She layed it in her calcium dish and not in her moist hide ? no idea why she did that...

He said it felt medium, in between squishy and semi hard... i checked this morning and i belive all that yellow is gone now, and it did have that little red circle in it, so it has to be fertile :main_huh::main_huh:

Sounds like it was fertile. Sometimes they will start to dry out, if you put it in moist material, you can possibly save it. Good luck!

I put It in Moist Material right away, today it looks better! So you think i prolly saved it ?

the red circle is the embryo of the baby and you need to use a permanent marker and put a line where the embryo is and make sure it doesnt move from that position or your baby will drown and die.

She also just layed one egg ? will she lay another soon, it looks like she has one more in there, but no idea why she didn't just lay them both ?
