Is my girl fat?

So I have a girl that I'm hoping to breed...
I was told that she may be overweight..she's housed with a blizzard who is tiny compared to her...but they get along well I think....

I'm attaching a small picture of her...when this was taken a few weeks ago she was 130 grams...i weighed her last night, she was 144...

So...diet? Treadmill?

would you happen to have a shot of her from directly overhead? She is a rather solid lizard to say the least. :main_yes: How old is she? Is there Giant in her? I thought (from the one's I've seen Ray comment on) usually have a bit of a longish whippy tail end.

she's what i personally would consider overweight, but what a pretty, chunky girl. and to be a giant or super giant, those genes would have to have been introduced. the size of a geckos isn't what classifies it as a giant. i have several geckos that are right at or nearly 100 grams that have no giant genes whatsoever. and yeah true giants and super giants will not only be heavier, but longer as well from snout to tip. her tail though is just cute and pudgy, lol. as far as diet, just monitor her intake. i have a female blizzard from Robin that will eat until she 'splodes if i let her. i have to keep an eye on her weight to make sure i'm feeding her enough, but not too much. oh and i wouldn't give her any wax worms, i think she's got enough fat on her ;)

I just want to squish her tail! lol. She's a big girl! Don't worry, I was also wondering the same thing about one of mine. Pudgy tail, chubby little legs. At least she's being taken care of, huh? lol. Just cut back on feeding a bit so she drop a little weight if you are worried.

This thread just made my day :) She is definitely a well fed leo! I wonder if leo's would be insulted or honored to be called fat? She is a lovely girl regardless.

LOL.......she isn't fat she is just fluffy...she works hard at staying in that kind of shape....Seriously though she is quite pretty!

If the 0.P.'s girl is reading this thread, I just want to let you know that some guys like a chunkier woman. They don't like messing with these skinny chicken heads who are liable to lose a tail during mating due to their frailty. They need a real woman with some cushion for the pushin.
