Is my little friend sick?

I came home from school and found some poo. I was really happy to see him poo after a day!

But then I found out he had regurgitated some mealies. He still hasn't eaten any mealies since I got him so he must have eaten in the pet store.


I was also wondering when he should start eating. I got him yesterday but he still hasn't eaten.

That's normal. It needs some time to adjust to it's new suroundings. Keep offering it food and water and be patient. It should be OK. It may have just regurgitated the meallies because it ate too many at once.

How can I help him to adjust faster to his surroundings?

Leave him alone. It really helps a lot! Don't handle him at all for at least a week and then only start to handle gradually as needed. The little guy just needs some peace and quiet and he'll be fine.

How often should I try to feed my leo? When I do feed my leo, do I put the worm into it's hide or should I take the hide off and then drop a worm in front of him?

You can just put the worms in a dish in the cage. He will find them. You can also drop them in front of him if you want to watch him hunt, but don't necessarily expect him to eat in front of you until he tames in a lot more.
